I am ~12 hours into building and I don’t want to scrap the whole project just because pillagers keep spawning. (Bedrock edition) I’ve recently began construction on a new base in my world, and pillagers have spawned inside of the structure. I have torches all over the floor and regular hostile mobs cannot spawn there. Apparently not, since torches and other light sources keep them from spawning.
It's just skylight that doesn't keep them from spawning. I had to end my hardcore world because within the first minecraft week, 4 pillagers spawned in front of my base (which happened to be a hole in the side of a cliff since it was so early in the game) and the killed me since all i had was an iron helmet, pants, and boots, and a stone sword.
